Borderlands 3 Cosmic Stalker Traits
The Borderlands 3 Cosmic Stalker is sort of a runner-up substitute for when you haven’t yet gotten your hands on a Bounty Hunter, which also improves Hunt Skills.
The difference between the Cosmic Stalker and the Bounty Hunter is that the Cosmic Stalker increases the power of Fl4k’s Hunt Skills and the Bounty Hunter makes sure they’re always activated. It’s basically the same effect as Zane’s Seein’ Dead Mod, split into two different mods.
Neither one of these mods provides Fl4k with the same ridiculous power bonus that Seein’ Dead provides to Zane.
One, because the effect is split up between these two mods, and two, because Fl4k has 4 Hunter Kill Skills that are… of average power, and Zane has 10 kill skills that are incredibly potent.
Nevertheless, you’re probably going to want to pick one of these bad boys up at some point, at the very least to complete your collection.
Location
Almost all of the non-DLC legendary class mods drop off the Eridian Trials bosses and Cosmic Stalker is no different. It drops off of the Tyrant of Instinct in the Trial of Instinct. To unlock this particular trial, you need to swing by the Floodmoor Basin once you’re far enough into the game.
Once you snag that quest, you’ll be able to fly Sanctuary to the Wayward Tether, where you can participate in the Trial of Instinct. The boss of this area, the Tyrant of Instinct, is the one who can drop the Borderlands 3 Cosmic Stalker mod.
In addition to looking awesome and dropping the Cosmic Stalker, the Tyrant of Instinct can also drop the Red Fang (terrible), the Bear Trooper (terrible) and the Infiltrator (decent).
You can’t chain farm the Eridian Trials bosses, so you have to do the trial every time, but it doesn’t take too long. Happy hunting.
Conclusion – Borderlands 3 Cosmic Stalker
If you’re playing as Fl4k, you’re going to want to get your hands on the Cosmic Stalker mod eventually, because it’s a fun mod that really complements Fl4k’s unique playstyle. It’s especially good if you’re specced into his various kill skills.
While the Cosmic Stalker may not always be the best-in-slot mod, it’s a powerful legendary mod that will amplify your power tremendously, and it’s not terribly difficult to obtain.
All you have to do to get your hands on a Cosmic Stalker is go through the Eridian Trials a bunch of times which, all things considered, is a relatively easy farm. You should be able to get your hands on one relatively quickly.
Once you do, you should be able to feel a satisfying increase in power, as the Cosmic Stalker is no slouch when it comes to boosting overall damage output.
