Persona 5 Royal Morgana Persona Guide & Best Build

If you’re playing Persona 5 Royal, you’ll want to know what skills Morgana can learn from his Persona, as well as which ones are most worthwhile to keep. This guide will help make sure that your Morgana is the best Morgana her can be and is taking full advantage of his persona at the end of the game.

Persona 5 Royal Morgana Persona Evolutions

Like every other character in the game, Morgana has 3 different evolutions for his Persona: Zorro, Mercurius and Diego.

Zorro is received at the start of the game, when Morgana awakens his persona in Kamoshida’s Palace.

Zorro is upgraded to Mercurius when Morgana’s Magician Confidant is maxed out to level 10. Mercurius also gains the Evade Elec ability.

Finally, Morgana’s final Persona, Diego, is obtained by speaking with Morgana during the bonus semester in January. Diego gains the skill Miracle Rush, which deals medium physical damage to all enemies with a high chance of critical, and his trait is upgraded to Majestic Presence, which increases the effect of healing and has a chance to reduce the SP cost for healing spells.

Morgana’s Best Endgame Build

Morgana, like everyone else, has 8 skills to pick from, and you want to make sure you have the best build possible. The top tier skills are:

SalvationWind Boost
SamarecarmWind Amp
Miracle RushEvade Elec
MagarudyneMatarukaja

The last slot, where I put Matarukaja, is a bit of a freebie. You have a few options for it. I like Matarukaja, which you can learn from the Jazz Club on 7/3 or 10/9 because it gives Morgana some additional buffing utility. However, you can also use Garudyne to have a single target wind spell. You may also want to use Pulinpa for a while to take advantage of confusing Mementos bosses for additional money. It’s not as useful as it was in vanilla Persona 5, but it still works.
