If you’re playing Yakuza Like a Dragon, the further you get into the game, the more you’ll notice that you need tons and tons of CASH. In Yakuza Like a Dragon money is very important.
Not only is 3,000,000 yen required to advance the plot at a certain point, upgrading all the various weapons for each job to their final form costs around 100,000,000 per weapon. That means if you wanted to fully upgrade each weapon for every job, you’d need to farm a mindblowing total of 2 billion yen.
With all the expenses you face in Yakuza Like a Dragon, the money grind is no joke. Because of that, you’re going to want to know the best Yakuza Like a Dragon money farming locations.
There are three. All of which require a certain amount of grind. The locations you’re going to want to be aware of are: the Management minigame, the Sotenbori Battle Arena, and the Final Millennium Tower.
The Management Minigame –

The Management minigame is the earliest farming opportunity that becomes available and investing around 3 hours to complete it as soon as it becomes available is certainly worthwhile. This alone will net you around 14,000,000 yen at a time when 100,000 seems like a lot, so it’s highly recommended.
Once you’ve completed the Management minigame and gotten Ichiban Holdings to #1 on the stock exchange, every quarter will net you 3,000,000 yen. This is a bit of a tedious grind, mostly because of how you have to individually restore each employee’s happiness, but you can get fairly fast at just blazing through each quarter.
This is going to be the best way to earn money until chapter 12 when the Sotenbori Battle Arena becomes available.
The Sotenbori Battle Arena –

Man, I sure hope you like grinding at the Sotenbori Battle Arena, because you’re going to be doing it a lot. Basically, the idea when it comes to Yakuza Like a Dragon money farming at the Sotenbori Battle Arena is to do the last 5 floors (26-30) over and over again, but before you start doing that, you’re going to want to know how to maximize your profits from each run.
First, you need to get 4 Nouveau Riche Crowns, one for each active party member. Each Nouveau Riche Crown increases the money you earn from battle by 15%, for a total of 60% with 4. Oddly enough, you have to grind the Sotenbori Battle Arena to get the necessary materials for crafting these helmets.
Each Nouveau Riche Crown requires 2 golden insects (Moth, Butterfly, Rhinoceros Beetle, Mantis), which are conveniently the repeatable rewards from the first 4 floors of the battle arena. So, before you do anything else, grind through those first 4 floors 8 times so you can build yourself 4 Nouveau Riche Crowns.
After you’ve got your crowns, pick up 5 Sengoku Coffees. These are available at most red vending machines. Conveniently, you can buy them from the red vending machine near the bridge, right up the stairs from the Sotenbori Battle Arena itself.
Sengoku Coffees increase your Yakuza Like a Dragon money reward from battle by 50%, and they stack with the crowns, bringing your total money multiplier on each fight up to 2.1x. You can carry 5 coffees, just enough to use one on each fight every time you run through floors 26-30.
With the coffees and the crowns, every run will net you 3.5 million from battle winnings alone. However, you’ll also get another 2 million from selling the repeatable rewards you get from the fights. The Electric Whip sells for 1 million and each of the pieces of Dragon equipment sell for 300,000.
That brings your total to 5.5 million per run, and each run probably takes about 10 minutes. This is the best Yakuza Like a Dragon money farming location until you beat the game. At which point, the Final Millennium Tower opens up.

Final Millennium Tower –
Best Yakuza Like a Dragon Money Farming Locations
When it comes to the best Yakuza Like a Dragon money farming locations, the Final Millennium Tower can’t be beat. Every run will net you 65 million yen.
Be sure to have your Nouveau Riche Crowns equipped, and stock up on Sengoku Coffees every run (you can buy them from the red vending machine just East of the entrance to the tower). There are 5 bosses in the Final Millennium Tower, so you have exactly enough coffees to use one for each boss.
Every boss will give you about 10 million give or take, and the final boss of the tower will drop a staggering 18 million yen. Between the haul from bosses and the cash you get from the standard encounters throughout the tower, you should rake in about 65 million yen per run. This makes the Final Millennium Tower by far the best of the best in terms of Yakuza Like a Dragon money farming locations.
Upgrading each weapon costs about 100,000,000 yen, so two run-throughs of the Final Millennium Tower should do it.
