Overview & Review- Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer Job
The Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer job is the main tanking class available in the game. It relies on inflicting a status affliction called Enrage, which forces enemies to attack the target caused the affliction.
In terms of classic RPG archetypes, Enforcer is most similar to a Knight.
The tanking skills of the Enforcer job are of questionable utility for most of the game until the final challenge, the True Final Millennium Tower. However, even without relying on its tanking utility, the Enforcer is a powerful fighter in its own right.
Enforcer gets a great selection of skills. It gets an extremely powerful single target attack at job level 6 called Paralysis Prongs. Most other jobs don’t learn attacks of that strength level until around 18+.
Later on, it gets two of the best target-all Essence abilities. It gets a blunt type physical attack that takes advantage of its above average Attack, as well as a powerful electric elemental attack with a good chance to paralyze all enemies.
Enforcer makes a great first or second job pick because it gains a multitude of HP and Defense bonuses, which are useful on every character when it comes to tackling the True Final Millennium Tower, where enemies can casually deal 1,000-1,200 damage with their normal attacks alone.
Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer Best Weapon
The best weapon for the Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer job is called the Special Ops Riot Shield EX EX. Like all the best weapons, it’s obtained by upgrading a low level base weapon at the Romance Workshop in the Commercial District in Ijincho.
The base weapon you need is the Bulletproof Shield, which you can buy at the Gambling Hall in Ijincho for 500 points.
To finish upgrading the weapon, you need a Absolute Shield, which you can buy from the Shogi Prize Shop for 150,000 points (yikes), or buy from Le Marche in Kamurocho for 10,000,000 yen.

Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer Accessory
The Job Experience accessory for the Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer Job is pretty easy to obtain. It’s called the Medal of Honor. You can get one from Substory 38. Unfortunately, there’s only one Medal of Honor available in the game, so the Enforcer job can only boost its Job Experience up 1.5x.
Character Skills – Yakuza Like a Dragon Enforcer Job
Every job in Yakuza Like a Dragon has two specific Character Skills, which, once learned, can be used by that character no matter which job class they’ve been assigned.
For the Enforcer job, the character skills are:
Shield Blast: Damage a single enemy as well as the enemies around them by releasing a shockwave of sheer bravado.
Power Lift: Deal extreme damage to an enemy with a powerful shield strike. May leave the enemy enraged.
Shield Blast isn’t worth very much at all. Except for the 2 early game levels where it’s the only skill available to a fledgling Enforcer, you’ll never use it.
Power Lift, on the other hand, has some utility since it inflicts the Enraged status, which allows your Enforcer to carry over some of its tanking utility to another class.
