If you’re playing Scarlet Nexus, you’re going to want to know how to get all the best weapons for every characters. In Scarlet Nexus best weapons are all acquired during the post-game by getting special crafting ingredients called Phantom Art. In order to acquire all the Scarlet Nexus best weapons, you need to acquire each piece of Phantom Art in order to exchange them for the weapon upgrades in the shop.

In order to get all the Scarlet Nexus best weapons, you’ll need to upgrade each characters’ weapon to their second best available weapon, since their second best weapon will be required in the recipe for their ultimate weapon. This should not be too difficult. In Scarlet Nexus, weapons follow a very linear upgrade path that utilizes mostly common ingredients you should be swimming in by the end of the game.
Without further ado, here is how to collect each and every one of the Scarlet Nexus best weapons for every character.
Yuito (Otori) & Kasane (Hitori) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
Yuito and Kasane’s weapons are the easiest to acquire. Simply beat the game and you’ll automatically receive the Phantom Art “Phoenix and Moth” Document after the ending completes, which is the necessary ingredient to upgrade to their ultimate weapons.
In order to get a second copy of the Phantom Art “Phoenix and Moth” Document, all you need to do is load up your clear data, head back to the Millennium Hall and beat the game again.
Of all the Scarlet Nexus best weapons, these are by far the easiest to acquire.
Hanabi (Kaen) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Hanabi’s best weapon, Kaen, you need to complete the quest “Important Mission” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “Important Mission” rewards Phantom Art: Monkey, which is required to craft Hanabi’s best weapon.
The “Important Mission” quest is found only when controlling Yuito as the main character in Suoh City Ryujin Ward (Main Street) in the southeast part of town, and is given by an NPC named OSF Shiroyama Fan.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 4 Fuel Pools using pyrokinesis and 2 Buddy Rummy enemies with Brain Field Super Armor active.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Monkey, which is used to upgrade Hanabi’s weapon to her best weapon, Kaen.
Tsugumi (Enmu) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Tsugumi’s best weapon, Enmu, you need to complete the quest “Verifying the Secret” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “Verifying the Secret” rewards Phantom Art: Swallow, which is required to craft Tsugumi’s best weapon.
The “Verifying the Secret” quest is found only when controlling Yuito as the main character in Seiran City at a dining area near the entrance, and is given by an NPC named Female Shiroyama Fan.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 2 Vine Yawns with Clairvoyance active and 3 Missin Pounds with Psychokinesis.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Swallow, which is used to upgrade Tsugumi’s weapon to her best weapon, Enmu.
Gemma (Kiseki) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Gemma’s best weapon, Kiseki, you need to complete the quest “No Interference!” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “No Interference!” rewards Phantom Art: Turtle, which is required to craft Gemma’s best weapon.
The “No Interference!” quest is found only when controlling Yuito as the main character in Seiran City in an alley in the northern part of the city, and is given by an NPC named Art Dealer.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 2 Auger Sabbats with Sclerokinesis active and 2 Booger Sabbats with a charge attack.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Turtle, which is used to upgrade Gemma’s weapon to his best weapon, Kiseki.
Luka (Shojin) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Luka’s best weapon, Shojin, you need to complete the quest “For the Exhibition” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “For the Exhibition” rewards Phantom Art: Elephant, which is required to craft Luka’s best weapon.
The “For the Exhibition” quest is found only when controlling Yuito as the main character in the Sumuragi Tomb Grounds next to the stairs leading into the tomb, and is given by an NPC named Exhibit Staff.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 3 Saliva Santas with Teleportation active and 4 Marabou Pendus with a slam attack.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Elephant, which is used to upgrade Luka’s weapon to his best weapon, Shojin.
Shinen (Kan’nen) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Shinen’s best weapon, Kan’nen, you need to complete the quest “For the Exhibition” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “For the Exhibition” rewards Phantom Art: Catfish, which is required to craft Shinen’s best weapon.
The “For the Exhibition” quest is found only when controlling Kasane as the main character in Suoh City Ryujin Ward next to the entrance, and is given by an NPC named Exhibit Staff.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 3 Session Pounds with Electrokinesis active and 3 Rainy Rummy enemies in mid-air.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Catfish, which is used to upgrade Shinen’s weapon to his best weapon, Kan’nen.
Arashi (Ayane) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Arashi’s best weapon, Ayane, you need to complete the quest “Enchanted by Weapons” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “Enchanted by Weapons” rewards Phantom Art: Horse, which is required to craft Arashi’s best weapon.
The “Enchanted by Weapons” quest is found only when controlling Kasane as the main character in the OSF Training Facility in Suoh, and is given by an NPC named Weapon Specialist.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 2 Grin Yawns with Hypervelocity active and 4 Vase Paws with a perfect dodge attack.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Horse, which is used to upgrade Arashi’s weapon to her best weapon, Ayane.
Kyoka (Hyouga) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Kyoka’s best weapon, Hyouga, you need to complete the quest “Want to Learn More” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “Want to Learn More” rewards Phantom Art: Honey bee, which is required to craft Kyoka’s best weapon.
The “Want to Learn More” quest is found only when controlling Kasane as the main character in the Suoh City Ryujin Ward in an alley on the west side, and is given by an NPC named Male Shiroyama Fan.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 2 Juttie Chinery enemies with Duplication active and 2 Winery Chinery enemies psychokinesis follow-up attacks.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Honey bee, which is used to upgrade Kyoka’s weapon to her best weapon, Hyouga.
Kagero (Sekiei) – Scarlet Nexus Best Weapons
In order to get Kagero’s best weapon, Sekiei, you need to complete the quest “Help with a Report” which becomes available on a clear file after beating the game. “Help with a Report” rewards Phantom Art: Lizard, which is required to craft Kagero’s best weapon.
The “Help with a Report” quest is found only when controlling Kasane as the main character in the OSF Hospital near the entrance, and is given by an NPC named Art Student.
As for the quest itself, you need to defeat 3 Base Paws with Invisibility active and 3 Saws Paws a brain crush.
Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the quest giver to get Phantom Art: Lizard, which is used to upgrade Kagero’s weapon to his best weapon, Sekiei.
