There is some subjectivity to what the best accessories are for each character, but generally speaking I’ll give you what people generally go for and leave some notes about other options or potential tweaks that might fit your preferences better. Still, again, there is some subjectivity to the Tales of Arise best accessories so you may disagree.

With the introduction out of the way, let’s get to the Tales of Arise best accessories guide.

Alphen – Tales of Arise Best Accessories

When it comes to the Tales of Arise best accessories for Alphen, you’re going to want a Magic Emblem with Fire Damage +15% in every slot.

That may not seem like what you should go for with Alphen, as he’s a physical attacker, but I promise you this is what you’re going to want on him in the endgame or on higher difficulties.

Alphen’s Flaming Sword attacks use Elemental Attack in their damage calculation and they’re fire damage, which this accessory boosts by 60%. If your Alphen is wearing this thing, Incineration Wave will pretty much chunk off 30-50% of a boss’s health in one hit every time.

You may not want to waste health and CP using Flaming Sword attacks during random encounters, so you might want a backup accessory to swap in whenever you’re not fighting bosses, in which case you’ll obviously want to go for some kind of attack boosting accessory, but if you ask me that becomes a real hassle and the benefit isn’t particularly worth it, as trash encounters by definition are not difficult and tend to end quickly.

Still, if you do want another accessory to swap out with, I’d recommend a Warrior Emblem with Counterattack Damage +30% x4. Check out Law’s section for more information on that.

Fire Damage +15% is a level 3 skill and Magic Emblem requires an Astral Ore, which can be found in Mount Dhiara, Tower of the Wind Spirit, Adan Ruins, Adan Lake, and every area of the post-game dungeon.

Shionne – Tales of Arise Best Accessories

For Shionne, in terms of the Tales of Arise best accessories, your best bet is generally focusing on CP reduction, casting time or some combination of both. In my opinion, Casting Time is much more useful because you can refill CP with relatively cheap consumables, but waiting for Shionne to execute spells with a long cast time only to get interrupted at the last second is agonizing.

So I’d recommend a Mystic Crest built as above, with Casting Time -5% in every slot for a total of -40% casting time. With this, Shionne’s heals come out extremely quickly.

The most common alternative to this is a Faerie Ring (CP cost -20%) with Casting Time -5% in every slot, or a Mystic Crest (Casting Time -20%) with CP Cost -10% in every slot. Any combination of those things is going to be good, I just think stacking the casting time is best because you can easily refill CP during battle with items.

Casting Time 5% and CP Cost -10% are both level 5 skills. Mystic Crest requires a Mysterious Fragment, which you can get in Gegham Helgarahi, Tarfhal Helgarahi, the Zest area in the post-game dungeon and the Scarlet Night area of the post-game dungeon. Faerie Ring requires Pixie Crystals which are in all the same locations.

Rinwell – Tales of Arise Best Accessories

For Rinwell, when it comes to the best Tales of Arise accessories, a Mystic Crest with 4x Counterattack Damage +30% is about the best you’re going to be able to do.

Counterattack Damage +30% doesn’t mean that Rinwell’s counter edges get powered up, it means if an enemy is executing an attack animation when it gets hit with Rinwell’s spells, the damage is increased. And most enemies, especially late game bosses, unless they’re downed, are always attacking, so this accessory gives a whopping 120% damage increase in addition to the 20% faster casting time.

You could make this with a Magic Emblem instead and the performance would be similar, but not as good. That casting time is really good, not just in terms of a damage increase, but also ensuring that Rinwell gets interrupted less often.

Counterattack Damage +30% is a level 4 skill and Mystic Crest requires a Mysterious Fragment, which you can get in Gegham Helgarahi, Tarfhal Helgarahi, the Zest area in the post-game dungeon and the Scarlet Night area of the post-game dungeon.

Law – Tales of Arise Best Accessories

When it comes to the Tales of Arise best accessories for Law, you’re going to want to exploit the sheer ridiculousness of the Counterattack Damage +30% skill.

I’d recommend using a Warrior Emblem as the base accessory, because there’s just not really any better option. I have seen some people make an argument for stacking AG cost reduction, but in my experience nothing outperforms the sheer absurdity of 120% bonus damage against any boss that isn’t downed in terms of DPS, except +Fire Damage on Alphen.

Counterattack Damage +30% is a level 4 skill. Warrior Emblems require Brimore which is found in Ganymede Castle, Lacerda Cliff, Safar Sea Cave, Overseer Hill, Trasilda Highway, Tietal Plain, Gilanne Woodland, Razum Quarry, Symphony Rift, Abyss Rift, and Scarlet Night Rift.

Kisara – Tales of Arise Best Accessories

When it comes to Kisara’s Tales of Arise best accessories, you generally want two things: Increased Aggro L, and a bunch of Elemental Defense.

For the base accessory, there are kind of two choices which both have a case that can be made for them. I prefer a Revival Ring, so if Kisara does happen to die, there’s a 50% chance Shionne won’t have to waste time resurrecting her. However, you might also consider a Resist Ring, which further shores up Kisara’s Elemental Defense.

Either way, you’re going to want Increased Aggro L, a level 4 skill, and Elemental Defense +60, which is also a level 4 skill.

Revival Ring requires Regenerative Crystals, which are found in Berg Volcano, Frozen Valley, Mount Dhiara Ridge, Tower of the Wind Spirit, Fogwharl Caverns, Forland Mountains, The Wedge, Uninhabited Island, Lenegis, Destiny Rift, Symphony Rift and Zest Rift.

Resist Rings require Inhibitor Crystals, which are found in Mount Dhiara, Aqfotle Hills, Esta Luvah Forest, Adan Ruins, Adan Lake, Destiny Rift and Symphony Rift.

Dohalim – Tales of Arise Best Accessories

Dohalim is kind of the jack-of-all-trades party member so his best accessory kind of depends on how you’re using him, but let’s face it, if you’re using Dohalim you’re using him as a backup healer for Shionne, so the options when it comes to his Tales of Arise best accessories are going to be the same options as Shionne’s.

You’re going to want either a Mystic Crest or a Faerie Ring, and you’re going to want to stack either Casting Time -5% or a combination of Casting Time -5% and CP Cost -10%. My preference is to go full Casting Time -5%, just as with Shionne. This is even better for Dohalim as it also improves his offensive magic.
