Hellion – Runaway – Jester – Leper – Occultist

Without further ado, let’s get into the Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills List.

1. Pick to the Face – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills pick to the face

Pick to the Face deals 4-7 damage and ignores block tokens.

Usable: Ranks 1-3

Targets: Ranks 1-2 (Single Target)

Pick to the Face Mastery Upgrade: Increases base damage to 4-10 and increases crit rate to 15%. Has +50% crit when target has a combo token.

Review: This is Grave Robber’s bread and butter attack. You’ll use it a lot, but as you upgrade Grave Robber and she learns more attacks it becomes more useful as an attack that bypasses block tokens than anything else. Pretty good overall.

2. Thrown Dagger – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills thrown dagger

Deals 3-5 damage and ignores guarding tokens. Ignores evasion tokens when stealthed.

Usable: Ranks 2-4

Targets: Ranks 1-3 (Single Target)

Thrown Dagger Mastery Upgrade: Increases damage to 3-7, increases crit rate to 30%. Gets an additional +50% crit when target has a combo token.

Review: Before the mastery bonus it’s basically a weaker alternative to Pick to the Face or Poison Dart for situations where you need to hit a rank 3 enemy. After the mastery bonus, its damage is comparable due to its high crit rate. Still not one of my favorite Grave Robber skills overall.

3. Flashing Daggers – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills flashing daggers

Flashing Daggers deals 2-3 damage to enemy ranks 2-3.

Usable: Ranks 2-4

Targets: Ranks 2-3 (Targets All)

Flashing Daggers Mastery Upgrade: Increases damage to 3-5 and crit rate to 10%.

Review: Not a good skill. It’s Jester’s Harvest skill without the bleed. The only thing this is good for is taking evasion and block tokens off two enemies at once. Not worth a skill slot.

4. Poison Dart – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills poison dart

Poison Dart deals 2-4 damage and inflicts a 2 damage blight.

Usable: Ranks 2-4

Targets: Ranks 1-4 (Single Target)

Poison Dart Mastery Upgrade: Increases base damage to 2-5, increases blight damage to 4, gains +50% crit when target has a combo token.

Review: I prefer Poison Dart to Thrown Dagger. It can hit any rank, it deals more damage overall, and like almost all DoT skills is great for removing block tokens without sacrificing its damage. Still not an amazing skill. Useful in certain situations.

5. Absinthe – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills absinthe

Heals self for 33% health if HP is under 25%. Adds 3 evasion tokens and a speed token.

Usable: Ranks 1-4

Targets: Self

Absinthe Mastery Upgrade: Improves the dodge tokens to dodge+ tokens.

Review: Absinthe is a straightforward self-sustain skill and it’s pretty good. The dodge tokens really come in hand. In my opinion, however, Dead of Night is better since it heals more and has the corpse removal utility.

6. Dead of Night – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills dead of night

Dead of Night removes a target corpse, heals for 33% health and grants a stealth token.

Usable: Ranks 1-4

Targets: Ranks 1-4 (Single Target)

Dead of Night Mastery Upgrade: Increases heal to 50%, heals 1 point of stress.

Review: This skill keeps Grave Robber at full health most of the time, since corpses are plentiful and the heal is huge. Removing a corpse is a good utility to help with positioning, so it comes in handy a lot even without the heal.

7. Glint in the Dark – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills glint in the dark

Glint in the Dark deals 3-5 damage and ignores & removes stealth. Ignores 20% death resistance.

Usable: Ranks 1-3

Targets: Ranks 1-3 (Single Target)

Glint in the Dark Master Upgrade: Increases damage to 4-6 and ignores death resistance if stealthed.

Review: The main usefulness of this skill is that it’s more likely to finish an enemy off without having it defy death. Stealthed enemies are few and far between and they’re mostly weak monsters with low max HP. One of the less useful skills for Grave Robber.

8. Lunge – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills lunge

Deals 4-8 damage with a 20% crit chance. Ignores dodge tokens when stealthed. Moves forward 2 ranks.

Usable: Ranks 3-4

Targets: Ranks 1-3 (Single Target)

Lunge Master Upgrade: Increases damage to 4-11 and crit chance to 30%. Ignores block tokens when stealthed.

Review: Lunge is used in conjunction with Pirouette to dance back and forth between rank 2 and rank 4. If you’re doing that, Lunge pretty much outclasses Thrown Dagger and Pick to the Face in every way. Great skill.

9. Pirouette – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills pirouette

Pirouette deals 4-7 damage to both enemies in rank 1-2. Two round cooldown. Grants a dodge token and inflict Daze on self.

Usable: Ranks 1-2

Targets: Ranks 1-2 (Targets All)

Pirouette Mastery Upgrade: Damage increased to 6-8. Crit chance increased to 15%. Dodge token upgraded to Dodge+ token.

Review: Pirouette does damage on par with Leper’s Hew. It’s very strong and it works great when you rotate it with Lunge, provided your rank 3 member works in rank 2 and your rank 4 member works in rank 3. Great skill.

10. Repartee – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills repartee

Repartee grants 3x dodge tokens and 2x taunt tokens. Requires stealth.

Usable: Ranks 1-4

Targets: Self

Repartee Mastery Upgrade: Improves dodge tokens to dodge+ tokens.

Review: Repartee lets you have the advantages of Absinthe if you’re using Dead of Night instead. Still, trying to use Grave Robber as a tank or off-tank is kind of a gimmick. Not a bad skill if you have room for it.

11. Shadow Fade – Darkest Dungeon 2 Grave Robber Skills

darkest dungeon 2 grave robber skills shadow fade

Shadow Fade grants stealth. Moves back 2 ranks.

Usable: Ranks 1-2

Targets: Self

Shadow Fade Mastery Upgrade: Grants a speed token in addition to stealth.

Review: Shadow Fade is definitely Grave Robber’s worst skill and probably the worst skill in the game. The synergies from stealth aren’t powerful enough to warrant using a turn to set them up unless you happen to have stealth from Dead of Night. Spend a skill slot so you can waste a turn giving yourself stealth and speed token? No thanks.
