If you’re playing Elden Ring and you’re planning on using daggers, you’ll probably want to know how you can get the best Elden Ring early dagger, Reduvia. Very quickly after starting the game, you can run over and grab a great upgrade for your starting dagger. If you started as a Bandit, you can even dual wield. This best Elden Ring early dagger guide will teach you how to get the Reduvia dagger at the start of the game.

Keep in mind, Reduvia requires 13 Arcane to wield. If you started out as a Bandit, you’ll be able to equip it right away. Other characters like Warrior and Samurai will have to invest some points in Arcane to be able to use it.

Unlocking Waypoints – Best Elden Ring Early Dagger

Before you’re able to get Reduvia, it’s probably a good idea to open some waypoints, get the horse, and unlock the ability to level up. You’ll most likely die a few times while doing this if this is your first character, so be prepared.

First thing’s first. Finish the tutorial dungeon and unlock the First Step waypoint right outside. Then head northwest to the Church of Elleh and unlock the next one. Head over to Gatefront and unlock that one, then rest there to unlock the ability to level up and the horse.

From there, fight your way East through the knights’ camp or go around them. There’s a waypoint on the left (North) side of the road just East of the camp. That’s the best waypoint to use to go on this excursion.

The waypoint you’re looking for is Agheel Lake North:

Great. Now that you’ve unlocked a few waypoints and a horse, let’s go get the dagger.

Getting Reduvia – Best Elden Ring Early Dagger

From the Agheel Lake North waypoint that you unlocked, head Southeast, veering to the right of the road. The hill leads down into the lake. Hug the lefthand wall and follow it into a narrow pathway to the left.

Keep riding North. As you get to the end of this pathway, you’ll be knocked off your horse and a boss, Bloody Finger Nerijus, will appear in the distance.

You’re probably too weak to kill this boss. Dodge around, get a few hits in, and soon an ally will be summoned to aid you.

Trade the aggro from the boss back and forth with him and beat up the boss. It shouldn’t be too difficult, since your ally will do a lot of the damage and tanking for you.

Once Bloody Finger Nerijus is dead, he’ll drop Reduvia dagger.

Reduvia Stats – Best Elden Ring Early Dagger

The main thing about the Reduvia dagger is that it causes bleed buildup. Once an enemy has enough bleed built up on them, the bleed will hemorrhage and they’ll take significant damage.

It also scales with Arcane as well as Dexterity and Strength. Its damage output will be significantly higher than your starting weapon. If you’re a Bandit, you can dual wield it with your starting dagger.
