There you’ll find a merchant who’s struggle to sell his gramophone technology. Partitio suggests they use it to record music. The merchant agrees, and it becomes Partitio’s task to search the world of Octopath Traveler 2 for three musicians to bring back to Winterbloom in order to record music on the gramophone.

The first musician is in Flamechurch in the Crestlands. At night, she’s outside the church on the Eastern side of the map. In order to bring her back to Winterbloom, use Partitio’s path action at night to hire her, and then fast travel to Winterbloom and talk to the quest giver.

Once you bring the piano playing priest back to the quest giver in Winterbloom, she’ll play the piano and you’ll be asked to find the two remaining musicians.

2. Canalbrine – Octopath Traveler 2 Scent of Commerce Winterbloom Musicians

The second of the Octopath Traveler 2 Scent of Commerce Winterbloom musicians is located in Canalbrine. He’s a violinist and at night he’s located right where fast travel teleports you to. All you need to do is fast travel to Canalbrine in the Harborlands and then use Partitio’s path action at night to hire him and bring him back to Winterbloom.

Once you bring the violinist to the quest giver in Winterbloom, he’ll record his rendition of the same song the pianist played and you’ll be asked to find the last remaining musician.

3. Crackridge – Octopath Traveler 2 Scent of Commerce Winterbloom Musicians

The final musician for the Octopath Traveler 2 Scent of Commerce Winterbloom quest is located in Crackridge in the Wildlands. The person you’re looking for is a guitarist. During the day, he’s located right at the entrance, but at night, when you need to recruit him, he’s inside the first house you pass as you enter the town. Simply use Patritio’s path action on the guitarist at night to hire him and bring him back to Winterbloom to complete the quest.

Once you’ve completed the Octopath Traveler 2 Scent of Commerce Winterbloom quest, you’ll unlock gramophones that you can use in any available tavern in order to listen to soundtrack music you’ve collected. It also unlocks sheet music in shops around the world.
