1. The Red Hand – Pillars of Eternity 2 Best Weapons
The Red Hand is a ridiculous Arquebus that fires twice per reload, which is basically double damage. Since Arquebus is a weapon type that exchanges attack speed for damage, being able to double attack like The Red Hand allows you to is obscene and offers a tremendous damage bonus. This weapon is one of the reasons that Maia tends to be the strongest party member in the game.
2. Pukestabber – Pillars of Eternity 2 Best Weapons
Pukestabber is a pretty silly dagger which provides +20% attack speed and +20% damage with all daggers with almost no downside at all. You have to be drunk in order to get the bonus, but you can accomplish that by simply drinking rum every rest. The drunk buff lasts basically until the next time you rest, so there’s no reason not to have the Pukestabber bonus even if you aren’t paying attention to managing your buffs at all.
3. Scordeo’s Edge – Pillars of Eternity 2 Best Weapons
Scordeo’s Edge is probably the best Saber in terms of damage dealing due to its innate ability to double-attack 10% of the time. That’s basically +10 crit, but even better, since double attacks can still crit, so you could potentially attack and deal 4x damage. In addition it grants an accuracy bonus on hit that stacks to +10, which increases damage output even further.
4. Modwyr – Pillars of Eternity 2 Best Weapons
Modwyr is an exceptionally powerful sword that provides a 20% Burn/Freeze lash, up to 30% increased attack speed (+2% per hit up to 30%), and immunity to Charm, Confusion and Domination. Very hard to go wrong with this sword.
5. Marux Amanth – Pillars of Eternity 2 Best Weapons
If you’re using the Pukestabber, you’re going to be looking for a dagger to complete the pairing to take full advantage of Pukestabber’s bonus to dagger damage and attack speed, and things don’t get much better than the Marux Amanth. Aside from pretty standard above-average bonuses (+2 Perception for Rogues, a 10% AoE burn damage proc, etc), it gains a very unique ability to instantly kill any enemy that gets to Near Death and this even works on most bosses.
