Persona 5: Best Skills for Trumpeter

If you’re playing Persona 5, you’ll want to know which skills to use on Trumpeter, who’s among the most powerful Personas in the game. You typically want to have a Persona who’s dedicated to using support skills, and Trumpeter is generally considered to be the best Persona for that purpose due to its natural resistances and access to Debilitate.

If you’re going to turn Trumpeter into the ultimate support Persona. here are the skills you’re going to want:

Heat Riser, which increases all stats for a single party member.
Debilitate, which lowers all stats for a single enemy.
Charge, which increases physical damage by 2.5x for a single attack.
Concentrate, which increases magical damage by 2.5x for a single attack.
Dekunda, which removes any debuffs placed on the party.
Dekaja, which removes any buffs placed on enemies.
Ali Dance, which decreases enemy accuracy by 50%.
Angelic Grace, which increases dodge chance by 50%.

There is a little wiggle room. The core skills that you want are Debilitate, Charge, Concentrate and Heat Riser. Ali Dance and Angelic Grace give the most defensive bonus possible for just two skills. You might also look into Spell Master, which halves SP costs and perhaps Drain Phys, which makes Trumpeter immune to the most common damage type. Dekunda and Dekaja would be the skills to replace if you chose to go in that direction.

Because Trumpeter is going to be carrying both Charge and Concentrate, that’s why I typically don’t recommend you put those skills on Kaguya, Yoshitsune or Alice. Although there’s a compelling case to be made about having Charge on Yoshitsune due to his ability to achieve immunity to every element, certainly having Concentrate on Kaguya or Alice is a complete waste of a slot.

That about does it for the best skills for Trumpeter in Persona 5. Be sure to check the Games Section for more content like this, and click here for more game guides related to Persona 5.
