If you’re playing Persona 5 Royal, you’ll want to know what skills Ann can learn from her Persona, as well as which ones are most worthwhile to keep. This guide will help make sure that your Ann is the best Ann she can be and is taking full advantage of her persona at the end of the game.
Persona 5 Royal Ann Persona Evolutions
Like every other character in the game, Ann has 3 different evolutions for her Persona: Carmen, Hecate and Celestine.
Carmen is received at the start of the game, when Ann awakens her persona in Kamoshida’s Palace.
Carmen is upgraded to Hecate when Ann’s Lovers Confidant is maxed out to level 10. Hecate also gains the Evade Ice ability.
Finally, Ann’s final Persona, Celestine, is obtained by speaking with Ann during the bonus semester in January. Celestine gains the skill High Energy, which grants concentrate to the entire party, and her trait is upgraded to Pinnacle of Magic, which has a chance of halving SP costs any time a party member casts a spell.
Ann’s Best Endgame Build
Ann, like everyone else, has 8 skills to pick from, and you want to make sure you have the best build possible. The top tier skills are:
Agidyne | Fire Boost |
Blazing Hell | Fire Amp |
High Energy | Evade Ice |
Dekaja | Spell Master |
Note that Ann does not learn Spell Master naturally. You obtain this ability by vising the Jazz Club on 1/29, which is right before the final boss fight in the bonus semester. Until then, use something else, like Matarunda. Also note that you keep any Jazz Club skills you learn in subsequent playthroughs.
As for an accessory, I highly recommend either a Salvation Crown for the utility or just a plain ol’ Orichalcum R for the stat boosts.
