The Bounty Hunter class mod is widely considered to be the best option for Fl4k when it comes to mods. This is because, similar to Zane’s Seein’ Dead mod, it activates his kill skills randomly while dealing damage. Additionally, it treats bosses as all different enemy types that Fl4k gets passive bonuses against, meaning he gets critical hit damage, armor damage, damage resistance, corrosive damage and movespeed while attacking bosses. Perfect for boss runs.
It’s not as overpowered and gamebreaking as the best mods for Amara or Zane, but it is probably the best thing Fl4k has access to overall, and it definitely provides a nice unique passive bonus, while also buffing up his Frenzy and Hunter’s Eye skills, which are solid skills. It only got stronger in Guns, Love and Tentacles, where Fl4k can max out The Most Dangerous Game in a Stalker build.
Location
Bounty Hunter drops off the Hag of Fervor in the Trial of Fervor. In order to unlock the Trial of Fervor, you need to swing by Jakob’s Manor and pick up the quest.
If the quest marker isn’t there yet when you load into the area, just keep playing through the game and come back later. If you’ve completed the game and you’re at max level, it’ll definitely be there. Once you accept the quest, you need to return to Sanctuary and fly to the Skydrowned Pulpit.
At the Skydrowned Pulpit, start the trial and play it through to the end. The Hag of Fervor is the final boss of the area.
Hag of Fervor is a badass hag, the type of enemy that certain Tinks hop onto and ride like a 90s Japanese anime mecha. Unfortunately, there’s no way to farm just the boss over and over again. You have to go through the whole quest every time you want to attempt a Hag kill. Fortunately, it’s not as bad as trying to farm the Slaughterhouse dedicated drops, as the Trials go by pretty quick.
