The Cursed Blade
Garrison’s best weapon is The Cursed Blade, which can be crafted toward the end of the game after collecting the recipe from the Pale Cathedral in the northernmost part of Wintervein on the way to the Crimson Garden. Like all the best weapons, it requires four difficult to find ingredients and it’s a massive increase in attack power that no other can possibly hope to match. Check out the ultimate weapons guide for more in-depth detail for how to obtain each ingredient, but basically it requires you to beat the hardest difficulty of the arena.

High Paladin Armor
Garrison’s best armor is the High Paladin Armor, which comes imbued with the Invigorate buff, causing Garrison to passively generate 10 Overcharge per turn. This may not sound like a huge bonus, but this ups Garrison’s power level tremendously by allowing him to start battles with 30 Overcharge on his first turn instead of 20. That means free Rage Blades every encounter, and more powerful Warblades more often.
In order to find this special armor, you need to complete the steps to gain the Dragon Heart Phylactery for Gully’s ultimate weapon. This involves releasing a Lich from a sarcophagus in The Iron Outpost and then fighting him later on in a random event in the Deadwatch dungeon. The lich drops the High Paladin Armor.
However, to upgrade it to Legendary like you see in my screenshot above, you need to find the broken down robot in the Mana Rifts (a random event, it’s not there every time), and exchange 10 Infused Crystal Shards in order to upgrade an Epic armor to Legendary.

The Abyssal Loop
The Abyssal Loop is found as a random drop from enemies in The Mana Rifts and, as far as I can tell, you can only obtain it one time. It has the largest damage bonus of any ring and, thus, it’s perfect for Garrison. You have a choice between giving this to Garrison or another damage character but… let’s be honest, there is no choice for this accessory other than Garrison.

Pulsing Demon Heart
The Pulsing Demon Heart necklace is found in the Derelict Ship in the southern part of the Moors. In order to acquire it, you have to defeat the Ancient Treasure Fiend, which is a powerful endgame optional encounter. In order to unlock it, you need to take 3 parts of the hempen jig to the Derelict Ship and play them on the organ there.
The 3 hempen jig parts are found throughout the game. One is sold by The Collector. Another is found in the Pointe Break Cantina in the little room near the fishing spot toward the back of the map, and the final part is in the Derelict Ship itself.
You should do this as soon as you get to the Moors even though you won’t be strong enough for the boss because en route to obtaining the Pulsing Demon Heart, you’ll also obtain the Mutiny sword, which is pretty much Garrison’s second-best sword, modeled after the famous Buster Sword from Final Fantasy 7.

Battlemaster’s Shard of Victory
You’ll most likely get the Battlemaster’s Shard of Victory around the same time you get the final components for Garrison’s ultimate weapon, because they’re both high-level rewards from the arena.
Like the Abyssal Loop and Pulsing Demon Heart, the Battlemaster’s Shard of Victory is a one of a kind item that grants the largest damage bonus of any accessory competing for its slot. You could spread these out between Garrison and Monika, but you absolutely should not do that. You should give them all to Garrison because in Battle Chasers Nightwar Garrison is a beast.
