Borderlands 3 Seein Dead Legendary Location

If you’re playing Borderlands 3, you may have heard of the Seein Dead, a legendary class mod that turns Zane from your run of the mill Vault Hunter into an unstoppable murder machine that nothing in the game can put a dent in. This guide will tell you all you need to know about what the Seein Dead is capable of and where to farm it.

Borderlands 3 Seein Dead Traits

Seein Dead is a class mod for Zane in Borderlands 3 that’s pretty much famous at this point for bringing Zane from arguably the weakest Vault Hunter to a rampaging whirlwind of death and destruction. Its bonus is tremendously powerful. Not only does it give him the passive ability to activate all his kill skills off of any damage he deals, but it also increases their efficacy by 25%.

That 25% increase is no joke. Zane’s kill skills are already super powerful, and he has about 10 of them, all getting a huge bonus to their effect. Also, since his kill skill to increase his action skill duration is not just a buff like the others, but a one-time effect, with this mod and even 1 point in that skill, his action skills are up almost indefinitely, since their duration gets boosted constantly.

This thing is wild. If you’re playing as Zane, you should definitely get it.

Location

The one bad thing about Seein Dead in Borderlands 3 is that it’s locked behind Moxxi’s Heist, which is a $15 DLC. The DLC itself is a pretty cool episode of, uh, let’s call it the Borderlands 3 story, so it’s worth purchasing on its own, but if you’re not planning to buy any DLC, you’re not going to have access to this mod. Which is a shame, because Zane with this mod and Zane without this mod is night and day.

The mod drops off the final boss of the DLC, Jackpot, the giant robot who’s at the end of VIP Tower, the final area of the DLC.

Jackpot is kind of an annoying farm because he goes invincible 3 times and starts flying around in his final form, but he’s not too bad.

If you’re loaded up on gold and/or you don’t want to wait until the end of the DLC, there’s another option, which is farming Mister Hoardmore, a rare tink behind the VIP doors in the Impound Lot. It’ll cost you like 500k gold every time you fight him, but he does have a chance to drop this mod. I wouldn’t personally recommend it, since Jackpot drops this mod regularly (I’ve had him drop 3 at once before), and it’s a somewhat rare drop on Hoardmore but, hey, it’s a fairly long DLC and Hoardmore’s in the middle and Jackpot’s at the end, so it is an option for you.

Anyway, that about does it for how to get the Seein Dead mod in Borderlands 3. Be sure to check out the Games Section for more content like this and also check out the Borderlands 3 Section for game guides for Borderlands including builds, tips, best guns, character reviews and more.
