Borderlands 3 Executor Farm & Location Guide

This Borderlands 3 Executor location guide will teach players where to find and farm Zane’s Executor class mod in Borderlands 3.

If you’re playing Borderlands 3, you may have heard of the Executor, one of Zane’s best options when it comes to a legendary class mod. This guide will tell you all you need to know about what the Executor is capable of and where to farm it.

Borderlands 3 Executor Traits

Executor isn’t nearly as strong as Seein’ Dead, but then again, none of Zane’s class mods come close at all.

Still, if you don’t have the Moxxi’s Heist DLC, you’re stuck with Zane’s vanilla mods, and unless you love constantly sliding and jumping to make use of the bonus from the Antifreeze, or breaking your own shields constantly with the Infiltrator, Executor’s the best you’re going to get.

In effect, Executor just gives Zane yet another kill skill to augment his other… 10 kill skills. It’s a modestly good kill skill overall. It increases a bunch of secondary stats nobody really cares about, as well as critical hit damage.

The accuracy/handling/status effect damage/status effect chance would be useless individually, but combined together they represent a pretty nice little buff.

Location

Almost all of the non-DLC class mods drop in the optional Eridian Proving Grounds trials you can pick up late in the game on various maps.

Executor is one of these Proving Grounds drops, and the trial it drops in is the Trial of Survival, which you unlock in Devil’s Razor.

If the quest marker isn’t available yet, just keep playing through the game. It’ll show up eventually. Once it’s there, interact with it to give Sanctuary the option to travel to the Gradient of Dawn Map. Executor drops off the boss of that area, the Skag of Survival.

Skag of Survival also drops Moze’s Bloodletter mod which is one of her best mods overall. You can’t chain farm the Eridian Trials bosses, so you’ll have to go through the trial every time you want a shot at some drops, but it doesn’t take too long to knock out a trial.

If you keep at it with the Eridian Trials, you should be able to get your hands on that Borderlands 3 Executor in no time. Good luck!

Conclusion – Borderlands 3 Executor Class Mod

If you’re playing as Zane and you don’t have the Moxxi DLC, the Borderlands 3 Executor class mod is about as good as you can do in terms of gearing yourself up with best-in-slot equipment that’s available in the base game.

The Borderlands 3 Executor increases Zane’s power and capabilities based on Kill Skills, which is something he has an entire skill tree dedicated to, so it makes sense to pick one up.

Once you find a Borderlands 3 Executor of your own, you’ll see a satisfying power spike in everything else you do in Borderlands 3 from there on out. It’s an incredible piece of equipment and well worth it to seek out and obtain.

If you equip the Executor, all of the skills that activate on enemy defeat will be that much more potent. It’s a highly recommended accessory.

Anyway, that about does it for how to get the Borderlands 3 Executor legendary class mod. Be sure to check out the Games Section for more content like this and also check out the Borderlands 3 Section for game guides for Borderlands including builds, tips, best guns, character reviews and more.
