BEST Borderlands 3 Fl4k Class Mods RANKED

This Best Borderlands 3 Fl4k Class Mods guide will teach players which legendary class mods are best for Fl4k in Borderlands 3.

If you’re playing Borderlands 3 as Fl4k, you’re going to want to know which class mods you should be looking for.

Most characters in Borderlands 3 at this point have about 8 legendary class mods, and Fl4k is no exception. So which are the best legendary class mods for Fl4k in Borderlands 3? Read on to find out.

8. Friend-Bot

friendbot

The Friend-Bot increases pet damage. Your pet does a pretty insignificant amount of damage even during the main story, let alone on Mayhem Mode. This increase does absolutely nothing to change that.

On top of that, the skills Friend-Bot gives bonuses to are not good skills. It’s a mod specifically for Fl4k’s Master tree, which is easily his weakest tree.

Unless you’re specced heavily into Master, this mod is not even a little bit good. Definitely not one of the better options when it comes to the best Borderlands 3 Fl4k class mods.

7. Red Fang

When you equip the Red Fang, if you’re using Gamma Burst (why?), Fl4k’s pets taunt enemies (who cares). The skills Red Fang gives bonuses to are also mediocre.

If you’re going for a beastmaster build (again, why), you might find some utility in this mod, but even then, its bonus is pretty useless.

If you’re not using Gamma Burst, a purple is better. It’s hard to decide which mod is worse: this or Friend-Bot. At least this one gives some kind of utility instead of a useless minor pet damage buff.

6. St4ckbot

St4ckbot should be amazing but it’s actually pretty terrible. The bonus isn’t that significant, and the stacks drop constantly. They drop if you have any dots active. They drop if you throw a grenade. If you’re using a shotgun or masher pistol (which most Fl4ks do), it drops if even one pellet doesn’t crit.

This mod is only mildly useful against huge, stationary bosses with obvious weak points. Which means pretty much only Graveward. The only reason it’s even this high on the list is because the other mods beneath it are even more terrible.

5. DE4DEYE

borderlands 3 fl4k class mods de4deye

DE4DEYE gives 35% increased damage to enemies over 75% health. It’s a decent damage bonus and it helps melt through shields and armor. It helps you get through the first third of boss fights.

DE4DEYE is not exceptional, but you can’t really argue that it’s useless. It gives bonuses to pretty good skills. It’s not flashy, and it doesn’t change any of Fl4k’s major mechanics in any way, but it helps get the job done.

Overall it’s a pretty good option when it comes to the best Borderlands 3 Fl4k class mods if you don’t have anything better available.

4. Rakk Commander

rakk commaner

Rakk Commander gives you an extra charge of Rakk Attack. The problem is, Rakk Attack’s Action Skill cooldown is already super short. You don’t really need an extra charge.

Additionally, there’s a much better Rakk Attack mod in the game (R4kk P4k).

Nevertheless, it is a fun little damage increase and it’s better than the other mods ranked lower on this list. Its skill bonuses are mediocre.

If you’re using Rakk Attack, use any of the mods ranked higher here. If you don’t have them yet, use this for a while.

3. Cosmic Stalker – Borderlands 3 Fl4k Class Mods

Cosmic Stalker is a very good mod. Definitely better than any random purple you’re going to find. The increase to kill skills is great for any build that dives into the red tree.

The problem is that Cosmic Stalker is just a less good version of the Bounty Hunter mod. If you don’t have the Bounty Hunter, and you’re looking for a poor man’s version, Cosmic Stalker is that.

It’s more or less tied with R4kk P4k in terms of overall usefulness, but since Cosmic Stalker is the 2nd best mod to upgrade your Hunter Skills and the R4kk P4k has a unique and fun mechanic, it lands in the 3rd spot when it comes to the best Borderlands 3 Fl4k class mods.

2. R4kk P4k

r4kk p4k

Do you like rakks? Do you like launching rakks at enemies? Do you like even more rakks? If you’re using the Rakk Attack Action Skill instead of Fade Away (for some reason), this mod makes the rakks drastically better.

When your rakk connects, it spawns 2 more rakks. Rakks everywhere. It also gives bonuses to good skills. It’s not as good as the Bounty Hunter, even with a rakk build, but it’s just… so many rakks.

It’s worth it for the comedy factor alone, and it’s actually pretty strong to boot. It’s a strong contender when it comes to the best Borderlands 3 Fl4k class mods.

1. Bounty Hunter

borderlands 3 fl4k class mods bounty hunter

Bounty Hunter is pretty much universally the best class mod for Fl4k no matter what build you’re going. You’re almost always going to pick up at least a few hunter skills, so having them up virtually all the time instead of just after kills is a pretty significant bonus.

It’s not as huge of a bonus as Zane’s Seein’ Dead, which has a pretty similar effect, but it’s quite strong nonetheless. On top of that, treating bosses as every enemy type is a very strong bonus when combined with Hunter’s Eye.

The skill bonuses are also great skills for DPS. Fl4k’s best option in terms of the best Borderlands 3 Fl4k class mods.

Conclusion – Best Borderlands 3 Fl4k Class Mods

Fl4k is a fun character to play and you’re going to want to accentuate your playstyle with one of the build-defining legendary class mods available in Borderlands 3.

If you can get your hands on a Cosmic Stalker, a Bounty Hunter or a R4kk P4k, you’ll be in good shape to take on any encounter in the game.
