Best Hades Fist Aspect TIER LIST

Wondering what the best Hades fist aspect is? This Hades Fist Aspect Guide is the guide for you. Best Hades Fist Aspects broken down & reviewed!

If you’re playing the wonderful new aRPG Hades, you’re going to want to learn everything you can about the various weapon aspects so you can know which weapons you want to focus on leveling up with your Titan Blood.

This Hades Fist Aspect Guide will cover all of the Hades Fist Aspects that are available so you can know the pros and cons of each one.

Best Hades Aspects Tier Lists

Hades is fairly well-balanced, so keep in mind while you’re reading through this list that some weapons may simply fit certain builds or playstyles better. Even if there is a weapon that’s generally better than the others, another weapon may be better for you. That’s why I’m putting a big focus in breaking down the pros, cons and potential build synergies for each of the Hades Fist Aspects.

Without further ado, here is the Best Hades Fist Aspect Guide.

S Tier – Best Hades Fist Aspects

Aspect of Gilgamesh

Must like the Aspect of Guan Yu, Gilgamesh does everything the other Hades fist aspects specialize in better. Demeter’s playstyle revolves around dashes and dash attacks — Gilgamesh can be played that way too, and it’s more effective and more fun. Talos focuses on special attacks with bonus damage; again, Gilgamesh has a special attack effect that’s better and more fun.

Fun is the key word here. Gilgamesh is so fun. It’s so fun to zoom around the battle field swiping at enemies, and the Maim skill is really just the icing on the cake. The extra dashes are what really make this weapon so cool.

One of the most fun things about Gilgamesh is it’s the only weapon in the game where you can really focus on dash boons to increase your damage. From my anecdotal experience, Tidal Dash increases your damage more than Poseidon’s standard attack boon.

Two incredibly goofy, broken things you can try with this weapon are Poseidon dash/Zeus attack and Athena dash/Ares attack. The Poseidon/Zeus build will smack enemies all over the battlefield with lightning striking them constantly, and Athena/Ares have a duo boon that automatically activates doom effects from the attack when the enemy is hit by the dash, meaning you’ll hit with ~5 doom procs in rapid succession as you dash attack through enemies.

Be sure to be on the look for even more extra dashes from Hermes to make this weapon even more fun.

A Tier – Best Hades Fist Aspects

To me, there’s a big divide in terms of power between the Aspect of Gilgamesh and the other Hades fist aspects. For that reason, I don’t feel any really belong in A Tier. Arguably, I think Aspect of Demeter deserves to be here if you get a perfect build and use it at the pinnacle of its skill cap, but I think most players wouldn’t take Demeter to that level.

B Tier – Best Hades Fist Aspects

Aspect of Talos

If you want to spam the fist special from beginning to end of a Hades run, Aspect of Talos is the weapon for you. 40% is a pretty decent damage bonus, which makes it great for bosses. Its playstyle is also surprisingly safe, since the Magnetic Cutter ability drags enemies to you, essentially giving the Fist special nearly full-screen length range.

Perhaps the main drawback of Talos is that it’s barred from acquiring the Flying Cutter upgrade (charge special for 2x damage), which is a shame because it would complement the Talos playstyle perfectly.

I particularly like the Poseidon special on this Hades fist aspect because it doubles down on the safety of the weapon. Pull in enemies with Magnetic Cutter and then knock them away with Poseidon. You deal significant damage and very rarely find yourself in harm’s way.

Since the damage bonus also affects casting, it’s nice to take a solid casting boon with this weapon, especially one that stays out on the battlefield while you keep attacking. For that reason, I think Artemis/Ares is another solid build — Artemis for the special boon and Slicing Shot from Ares to unlock Hunting Blades.

Aspect of Demeter

Some people swear by this weapon, but I just don’t see it. Yes, when the special is charged it deals significant damage. Yes, when you incorporate dash attacks into your attack pattern, getting 12 strikes is not terribly difficult to achieve quickly. Still, it relies on using the Hades fist aspect’s normal attacks which, even with hammer upgrades, are not as mobile or damaging as spamming specials.

That said, this is still a good weapon aspect, especially if you can get the right build combinations. As with most weapon aspects that encourage you to alternate between normal and special attacks, Aphrodite/Artemis Heart Rend duo is good. Zeus attack/Poseidon special is also good on this weapon and really doubles down on the special attack’s power as a finisher, especially if you find the duo boon.

It’s not my favorite weapon, but I wouldn’t discount it. Try it out, if may be your cup of tea.

C Tier – Best Hades Fist Aspects

Aspect of Zagreus

best hades fist aspects zagreus

The bonus on the Aspect of Zagreus for fists is just so boring. Dodge chance is nice and you can stack it with the dodge chance from Hermes to become really difficult to hit, but, also, you can just learn how to avoid enemy attacks.

This weapon, at best, is kind of a crutch for new players who might take a lot of damage, or for experienced players who just want to run through the game lazily and not worry about paying attention.

As with a lot of the fist weapons, you can get pretty far just by spamming the fist special, so it’s not like the Zagreus Fists are super underpowered. Just, compared with all of the other options available to you, their bonus is not very attractive.

They used to give a bonus to attack speed, which would be a lot more useful and interesting, but it was bugged so they just removed the bug instead of fixing the glitch.

Frankly, I wouldn’t recommend upgrading this weapon. It’s a waste of blood.

That about covers it when it comes to the best Hades fist aspects.
