If you’re playing Persona 5 Royal you’re surely wondering which Personas are worth using, and Lucifer is one of the best. In the original Persona 5, Lucifer wasn’t very good because his base level is too high for him to be able to max his stats, but in Persona 5 Royal, you can easily max Lucifer’s stats by making use of incenses. Since Lucifer also leaning arguably the best Almighty spell in the game, Morning Star, this makes him really useful for your party, especially on the first playthrough where Satanael isn’t available and Lucifer is definitively the best Almighty user in the game.
Here are the skills you need to put together to make the best possible Lucifer build.
Almighty Lucifer Build – Persona 5 Royal
Obviously you need Morning Star, which is Lucifer’s signature move, and everything else in the build works to support that. Lucifer gets 3 immunities and 4 resistances, so you don’t really need anything else besides Ali Dance, Angelic Grace and Repel Bless in terms of defenses.
Repel Bless tends to be a better option than Drain Bless because it reflects instant death skills and the Bless spell that halves HP.
Beyond that, you want Almighty Amp, Almghty Boost and Magic Ability to fully power up Morning Star to its highest potential. Those skills all stack. In order to get them, you need to make use of Network Fusion. Network Fusion can be done once per day and has a fairly high chance of adding one of these 3 skills to the end result of the fusion.
Spell Master is great on Lucifer because between Spell Master and his Allure of Wisdom trait, which halves MP costs, Morning Star ends up costing only 6 SP to cast, which means you can cast it pretty much every fight. Arguably, this slot is better used by Victory Cry in New Game+, but it’s actually not that cut and dry. Victory Cry makes Lucifer more sustainable for clearing trash mobs, but you’ll likely never run out of SP anyway chain-casting Morning Star on Lucifer with Spell Master, and Spell Master allows you to cast it on bosses longer. Plus, if you have Victory Cry, that also means you have Satanael with Victory Cry, so if you ever need to refill your HP/MP, you can just switch to Satanael for one fight to top yourself off.
In the end, you’ll want your setup to look like this:
|Morning Star||Ali Dance|
|Almighty Amp||Angelic Grace|
|Almighty Boost||Spell Master|
|Magic Ability||Repel Bless|
