Bravely Default 2 Bastion Job Overview
In Bravely Default 2 Bastion has a really interesting and powerful skillset. Unfortunately it lacks the one thing a tank class needs to really excel as a tank class, which is either a taunt or a guarding ability. Without either of those tools, Bastion is really a support mage with high defense. Bastion with a Shieldmaster sub-job, though, can really shine, although the reverse is often better because Shieldmaster gains BP and MP rapidly from its specialties.
